  • February 2, 2026 | Deadline to submit poster abstracts (no extensions will be granted due to high demand)

  • February 18, 2026 | Announcement of poster abstracts selected

  • March 13, 2026 | Final digital poster submissions due in PDF

  • March 23, 2026 | Announcements of final posters selected

  • April 29, 2026 SAMPE Poster Meet and Greet

  • SAMPE Seattle 2026 Conference April 27 – 30

NEW: Active SAMPE Membership is required to participate in the SAMPE 2026 Student Poster Contest. Membership for all authors will be verified prior to acceptance.

SAMPE invites the next generation of researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to participate in the SAMPE Student Poster Contest. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their research in front of an engaged and connected community of materials and processes engineering professionals. 

​​

Submissions can relate to any segment of the advanced materials industry. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Innovations in material science

  • Composites, or advanced materials

  • Composites/advanced materials in aerospace, construction, energy production, green/sustainable materials, etc.
