SAMPE 2027 Technical Paper Abstract Deadline Extended to October 4

The deadline to submit a Technical Paper abstract for SAMPE 2027 has been extended through Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Technical Papers are a crucial part of how SAMPE builds the technical conference program. Each paper undergoes a thorough review by subject matter experts and volunteers, with accepted work contributing to the technical exchange taking place May 17–20, 2027, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
If you have research, testing, analysis and results to share with the advanced materials community, take advantage of the extended deadline and submit your abstract for consideration.
What to Include in Your Abstract
Your abstract should concisely communicate the aims and outcomes of your research and provide the conference committee with a clear understanding of the Technical Paper you are proposing.
Authors will select the track that best aligns with their topic and submit a 100–350 word abstract that includes:
The research problem and objectives
Methods
Key results or arguments
Conclusion
Abstract titles should be short and specific, contain no abbreviations, and clearly indicate the nature of the proposed Technical Paper. Authors should be as specific as possible about the technologies, strategies, case studies or other work that will be addressed.

Authors whose abstracts are approved must submit their Technical Papers for review by January 18, 2027, using the required SAMPE format and template. Technical Papers must include tests, analysis and results.
