SAMPE Student Additive Manufacturing Contest
The SAMPE Student Additive Manufacturing Contest provides an opportunity for students to learn and expand their abilities in additive manufacturing and engineering design. Participants will receive a free student conference registration. Structures will be printed by the committee and tested during the SAMPE Seattle Conference and Exhibition.

Additive Manufacturing and Fuselage competitions will run simultaneously in the student competition zone.
The New Student Chapter SAMPE Fuselage Competition provides student chapters within their first 3 years of initiation with SAMPE an opportunity to standout. The students will design, build, and test a fuselage. The testing will occur at the SAMPE conference.
SAMPE Student Bridge Building Contest
Students are encouraged to participate in the SAMPE 2020 Student Bridge Contest. This contest allows students to design, build, and test a miniature structural bridge using various composite materials in accordance with a set of well-defined rules. This is an international competition involving schools from around the globe. Students compete for monetary prizes and for the coveted SAMPE Student Bridge Champion trophy. SAMPE Student Poster Session/Meet the Authors
Each year, SAMPE is pleased to invite the next generation of researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to participate in the Student Poster Contest. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their research in front of an engaged and connected community of materials and processes engineering professionals.
Submissions can relate to any segment of the advanced materials industry. Examples include, but are not limited to: innovations in material science, composites, or advanced materials; composites/advanced materials in aerospace, construction, energy production, "green” materials, etc. All abstracts and entries shall be in SAMPE’s official language English. Submit your abstract by
February 28, 2020 to be considered for this event. It should concisely describe your work and be 100-200 words in length.
All poster contest participants received a complimentary student conference registration. Accepted student posters will be publicly available throughout the duration of the exhibition.
