Each year, hundreds of abstracts are submitted for consideration for inclusion in the program. Industry leaders, academicians, graduate students, researchers, engineers, chemists, and business professionals with innovative ideas, products, research, and solutions are encouraged to submit an abstract.
Abstract Submissions:
Abstracts should concisely report the aims and outcomes of your research so that readers know exactly what your paper is about. Your abstract should be fully understandable on its own to someone who hasn't read your full paper or related sources.
Your abstract should include all of the following:
-
research problems and objectives
-
methods
-
key results or arguments
-
conclusion
Abstract submissions for the 2023 conference are due for review by October 1, 2022.
Timeline:
Important: Review the updated SAMPE 2023 timeline below; deadlines have moved up to accommodate the earlier spring conference dates in April.
October 1, 2022 | Abstract submission deadline
November 4, 2022 | Announcement of technical paper abstracts selected
January 9, 2023 | Final technical papers due for review (no extensions will be granted due to high demand)
January 15 - February 25, 2023 | Technical papers will go through the review process (SAMPE will be in touch with submission feedback as needed on a rolling basis)
February 28, 2023 | Final decision letters sent to technical paper authors
March 17, 2023 | PPT slides due
Technical Paper Submissions:
Technical papers are formal written research papers reviewed by industry peers. If your abstract was approved for SAMPE 2023, your technical paper is due for review October 1, 2022. Only technical papers that are accepted for publication will be scheduled for a 25-minute presentation during the SAMPE 2023 Conference. Deadline extensions will not be granted due to high demand.
An invitation to present a technical paper at SAMPE 2023 is contingent upon the acceptance of a technical paper. Presentations are scheduled once the review process has been completed. Presentations may be scheduled anytime during the conference program by show management. Approved presenters receive a discounted registration rate, which will be made available via a special link upon the acceptance of their paper.
